We want to give a huge shoutout to Gail from Earlham for the incredible work she has done in creating a Habitat Volunteer group at Earlham College! Her passion for service and community truly shines, and we are so grateful for her dedication to bringing students into the mission of Good News Habitat for Humanity.
At a recent Earlham College fair, Gail went above and beyond by setting up a fun and engaging station to show students how they could get involved. With a creative Despicable Me theme, her table instantly grabbed attention and made volunteering look both exciting and accessible. Students had the chance to test their skills through hands-on activities like hammering wood, painting, and other construction-inspired challenges. It was a fantastic way to give them a small taste of the joy and purpose that comes from Habitat service.
Her efforts didn’t go unnoticed, 15 students signed up to learn more and stay connected with Habitat opportunities. That kind of impact is exactly what helps us continue to grow, build, and serve more families in our community. Gail’s initiative is not only helping Habitat, but also cultivating a spirit of service among young leaders who will carry these values with them into the future.
We are so thankful for Gail’s energy, creativity, and heart for the mission. Because of people like her, Good News Habitat for Humanity continues to thrive and make a difference. Thank you again, Gail, you are an inspiration to us all!
