Construction on Sheridan Street has reached an exciting milestone, the interior walls are going up, giving us a clear look at the layout of what will soon become a safe, stable, and welcoming home for a hardworking local Partner Family.
Walking through the framed rooms, you can begin to imagine the daily moments this space will hold, like children playing in their bedrooms, family meals shared in the kitchen, and quiet evenings spent together in the living room. Each newly built wall represents the steady progress being made toward a brighter future for this family.
Our dedicated volunteers and construction partners have continued to show incredible commitment, lending their time, skills, and energy to move this project forward even through the colder months. Their hard work is transforming this once vacant structure into a warm, comfortable home filled with hope and possibility.
This build is part of our ongoing mission to create affordable, stable housing opportunities in our community, and we are grateful for every donor, volunteer, and supporter who makes this work possible. As we move into the next phases including electrical, insulation, and drywall we look forward to sharing more updates.
